Position: Client Associate

Stonewater Financial, a boutique wealth management firm, is seeking a dedicated Client Associate to join our dynamic team. The Client Associate is often the first point of contact for client inquiries and plays a pivotal role in conjunction with Financial Advisors to deliver a seamless and integrated client experience. The ideal candidate will excel at establishing, maintaining, and building relationships while providing exceptional client service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Client Onboarding and Account Maintenance: Take ownership of the client onboarding process and account maintenance for both new and existing clients. This includes collecting account-specific information, obtaining necessary documents from clients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.

– Product and Application Support: Provide support across a diverse suite of products and applications including but not limited to; Advisor Services, Wealth Planning & Advice, Goal Based Planning, Liabilities Planning, Banking & Lending solutions.

– Administrative and Operational Support: Perform daily administrative and operational duties that support the Financial Advisor(s) and clients; including money transfers, client account maintenance, and handling ad hoc requests.

– Trade Execution: Execute equity trades, mutual fund orders, fixed income trades, and private investments on behalf of clients and Financial Advisor(s).

– Interdepartmental Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the sales team, partner management, compliance, and various other business units throughout the firm, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of client queries.

– Initiative, Remediation & Marketing Support: Proactively support firm and regional initiatives, remediations and marketing activities, and actively participate in recurring local, national, and technology team meetings.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– Proven ability to be a self-starter, act as an end-to-end owner of tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to proactively identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of our clients.
– Effective communication skills, maintaining professionalism in difficult situations.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

– Ability to adapt to changing technology and regulatory policies.
– Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
– Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
– Strong skills in financial planning, account opening, account maintenance, and documentation.
– Proficiency in preparing materials for client meetings, managing relationships, and account reviews.
– Ability to prepare timely and accurate performance reports, identify business and product opportunities, and engage in proactive risk management.
– Experience in marketing, utilizing social media to promote the Company, and engaging prospective new clients.
