STEVEN BERNSTEIN
PRESIDENT

Steven Bernstein is the founder of Stonewater Financial, a dedicated financial planning and wealth management practice that provides honest advice and places clients’ interests first. In today’s economic environment people are seeking objective advice, while expecting concierge level personal attention. Steven tailors every decision he makes to each individual’s goals and objectives. Nobody can escape life’s transitions, however with a high degree of technical competency and analytical aptitude, Steven is able to help guide his clients towards making the right decisions, ones that seek to produce results, as well as protecting what they already have.

Steven is a Los Angeles native, and his family plays an integral part in his life. Steven is married to Debra and has three beautiful children, Kayla, Hailey and Noah.

Steven is a graduate of New York’s Yeshiva University with a degree in Finance.

Omar Michel
Client Relations Associate

Omar began his career in financial services in 2007, quickly transitioning to real estate finance and eventually owning his brokerage. After 13 years, he shifted focus to a holistic financial planning role. With comprehensive finance expertise, Omar enhances the Stonewater team’s ability to offer tailored advice and guidance.

Originally from San Diego, Omar holds an International Business degree from Alliant International University. He is a family man with a wife and three daughters, and loves spending his leisure time in church band, enjoys hiking with his family, and savors dinners with friends.

Levi Kraber
Administrative Assistant

Levi has more than three years of experience as a Brokerage Operations Consultant with Cambridge Investment Research. She joined LPL in 2022 to apply her experience working with advisors in the Admin Solutions Program.
Levi will work directly with you and your clients as dedicated support and will partner with a team of admins that will support with the completion of tasks.

Personal Info: Levi Kraber is an Iowa native. She is an active barrel racer and enjoys spending her time with her husband, horses and dogs. In her free time Levi can be found at a barrel race just about anywhere.

MICHAEL MORA
CLIENT RELATIONS MANAGER

Michael is a Client Relations Manager at Stonewater Financial. He received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon and has continued to develop his passion for Finance, especially on the investment side. Michael is working to become a certified Financial Advisor while helping to manage the day to day needs of clients. In his spare time, Michael can be found rooting for his favorite sports teams including the Dodgers, Lakers, Rams and Oregon Ducks.

CARRIE GEIST
CLIENT RELATIONS ASSOCIATE

With a background in client services and marketing, Carrie Geist has always prioritized helping clients to achieve their goals and aspirations. Her passion for communication lends itself perfectly to her role at Stonewater Financial where she helps clients navigate their financial path. Carrie’s energetic personality and work ethic has been a welcome addition to the team. When not busy with her two kids, she enjoys spending time watching hockey, needlepointing, and playing with her two dogs.

With more than 15 years of investment experience, Turnquist has provided actionable market insights covering all four corners of capital markets, including equities, fixed-income, commodities and currencies. Prior to joining LPL he served as Vice President on Piper Sandler’s research team, and has worked as a fixed income trader.
